Family Day Event
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the annual TCL Family Day Event did not occur. We realize that many of our members scheduled their Family Day around this event, for this, we apologize. TCL Board is addressing the underlying issues resulting in the event not taking place as planned. TCL is run solely by volunteers. The volunteer members of our board work very hard to ensure that there are opportunities available to our members throughout the year. Through these opportunities, we seek to build community, getting neighbors out together to enjoy all that Terwillegar Towne, South Terwillegar, Magrath, MacTaggart and Sandalwood has to offer. Looking for an interesting way to support the community?
The Terwillegar Community League is looking for auction items for our Wine & Cheese / Silent Auction event in support of the South Terwillegar park and spray deck project. Donations can take the form of a business product, or a basket or other item in a business or family name.

Community league members have been offered great discount on seats for the Oil Kings! The Oil Kings are top of the league this season with huge attendance at their last game! Be part of this family oriented fun at a family price. Silent Auction & Wine and Cheese
TCL is hosting a Silent Auction Wine and Cheese Event Saturday March 10th from 5pm-9pm at the Riverbend Community League Hall (258 Rhatigan Road). Come out and support TCL to build a Spray Deck and playground in South Terwillegar!
Swim Gym Coming to TCRC
Swim Gym is coming to the Terwillegar Community Rec Centre in February. Children aged 6 - 13 participate in fun-filled achievement sport programs consisting of Red Cross swimming lessons and diving instruction as well as gymnastics and fitness training, with achievement badges available in each sport.
Coyotes in the Area
Several people on our Facebook group have mentioned seeing coyotes in our area. For tips on how to deal with urban coyotes, you can read the City of Edmonton brochure detailing how to avoid human and coyote conflict.
League Discount Changes
Please be aware that the City of Edmonton has changed their policy on community league discounts, reducing it from 20% to 10%.
