Family Day Event

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the annual TCL Family Day Event did not occur. We realize that many of our members scheduled their Family Day around this event, for this, we apologize. TCL Board is addressing the underlying issues resulting in the event not taking place as planned. TCL is run solely by volunteers. The volunteer members of our board work very hard to ensure that there are opportunities available to our members throughout the year. Through these opportunities, we seek to build community, getting neighbors out together to enjoy all that Terwillegar Towne, South Terwillegar, Magrath, MacTaggart and Sandalwood has to offer. Looking for an interesting way to support the community?

The Terwillegar Community League is looking for auction items for our Wine & Cheese / Silent Auction event in support of the South Terwillegar park and spray deck project. Donations can take the form of a business product, or a basket or other item in a business or family name.

Silent Auction & Wine and Cheese

TCL is hosting a Silent Auction Wine and Cheese Event Saturday March 10th from 5pm-9pm at the Riverbend Community League Hall (258 Rhatigan Road). Come out and support TCL to build a Spray Deck and playground in South Terwillegar!

Welcome to the Terwillegar Community League

You have reached the online home of the Terwillegar Community League - an area of Edmonton from 23rd Avenue to Anthony Henday Drive, between Terwillegar Drive and Blackmud Creek.

The mission of our community league is twofold: to encourage a safe, friendly, and active neighbourhood by providing programs and services that promote family and community; and to act as an advocate by representing the needs and interests of the members of community. Our volunteers work hard planning community-wide social events, leading Neighbourhood Watch and other committees, running a community garden, communicating with local governing bodies to arrange benefits at local recreation centres, fundraising for parks and playgrounds to provide our littlest community members with places to run, climb and play with friends.

We have recently undergone a redesign of our website. Our goal was to update our site to be a more accurate representation of our vibrant, active community, and we pledge to keep the site up to date with information about our community, as well as items occuring in Edmonton that we think might be interesting to you, our neighbours.

We are currently raising funds for the development of parks in Terwillegar South, Magrath and Mactaggart, and donations for these projects are greatly appreciated.

If you would like to donate to support the development of Terwillegar Community Parks, please download this form. All donations of $20 or more will receive a tax deductable receipt from the City of Edmonton in February. Thank you!
